DOJ SUES KANSAS SCHOOL DISTRICT OVER TRANS POLICY The Justice Department sued the Kansas City school district for allegedly violating federal law and hiding students’ “gender transitions” from parents. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon said that parental rights “are paramount” and pledged, “The Department will not tolerate school districts playing fast and loose with federal law in the service of radical gender ideology.” READ

FAR-LEFT SENATE CANDIDATE APOLOGIZES FOR RATIONALIZING SYNAGOGUE ATTACK Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed apologized for his comments regarding a violent attack on a Detroit-area synagogue earlier this year. “But to anyone who feels like my comments might have been hurtful, I’m really sorry. That was not my intention,” he said Aug. 29. After the attack in March, El-Sayed had called violence a “cycle” and quipped that “hurt people hurt people.” READ
