Breaking News: CDC links four more states to cyclosporiasis outbreak traced to shredded iceberg lettuce from a supplier in Mexico

The newly linked states — Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania — join Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia, according to two individuals familiar with the investigation. Shredded iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants in those states has been traced to Taylor Farms de Mexico. Cyclospora infections have been reported in at least 41 states this year, but investigators are still working to determine whether more are part of the nine-state outbreak.
