VIOLENT CRIME DROPPED 25% IN 2025, DOJ SURVEY SAYS The rate of serious violent crime and property offenses fell in the U.S. in 2025 by 25% and 19%, respectively, according to preliminary findings released Oct. 26 by the Department of Justice. POPE LEO’S NOVEMBER VISIT TO URUGUAY, PERU, ARGENTINA WILL PROCEED The Holy See Press Office confirmed Oct. 26 that Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic journey to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru will proceed as planned for Nov. 6-17.
