Friend,   The 2026 midterms are only weeks away.   Here in Colorado, where my family lives, we’re concerned about more than just candidates.   We’re fighting for the dignity, safety, health, and emotional well-being of our children.   There are three ballot initiatives for us to vote on. Each of them is vital to protecting some of our most vulnerable citizens. Prop 133: The Children Are Not For Sale Act calls for life in prison without parole or release for convicted child sex traffickers. Prop 134: The Protect Girls’ Sports Act requires student athletes to compete on school and collegiate teams that match their biological sex. Prop 135: The Protect Kids From Irreversible Sex-Change Surgery Act prohibits healthcare professionals from performing or providing surgeries that alter the biological sex characteristics of minors. Many signatures had to be gathered to get these initiatives on the ballot, so there is clearly support for these goals among Colorado voters. I’m proud to say that members of our CatholicVote community were among some of the most active and vocal advocates.   It’s time to return a victory on these initiatives.   To my fellow Coloradans: Vote “Yes” on Props 133, 134, and 135. We have an opportunity to show the nation what it means to lead in the protection of children.   Polls open for early voting in Colorado on October 19th. Don’t wait for the opportunity to make your voice heard on these important issues.   If you’re not in Colorado, we need your prayers. Pray that we’ll see a huge voter turnout in favor of these initiatives.   And please be sure to vote in your own midterms. We need ALL Catholics to show up at the polls and make their voices heard.   Go forward bravely, Kelsey Reinhardt President & CEO CatholicVote Paid for by CatholicVote Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) organization, PO Box 3310, Carmel, IN 46082 (317) 669-6127 Unsubscribe Manage preferences
