Environment Alert: Pacific Northwest heat wave would have been ‘virtually impossible’ without human influence, scientists find

The heat wave, blamed for hundreds of excess deaths in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, was made at least 150 times as likely by rising temperatures, an analysis conducted by the World Weather Attribution group found.
