ISRAEL, LEBANON SIGN FIRST WITHDRAWAL DEAL SINCE IRAN WAR Israel and Lebanon signed a framework agreement yesterday for a partial Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon — the first since Israel expanded its occupation during the war with Iran — following four days of U.S.-mediated talks at the State Department.
