Former labor secretary Tom Perez narrowly defeated Rep. Keith Ellison — who had been the choice of the party's liberal wing — to become the first Latino chairman of the DNC. After the vote, Ellison said, "We don't have the luxury to walk out of this room divided."
 
Trump won't attend the White House correspondents' dinner
He announced his decision on Twitter Saturday, amid his now-semi-regular tweets attacking the media as "fake news" and calls for news outlets to skip the event.
 
After Trump's immigration order, anxiety grows in Florida's farm fields
