Would you take an $8000 couch for free? What about if you had to grab it off the streets of New York? That's the debate happening online this week after a TikTok went viral of a woman finding, cleaning, and keeping a couch she found outside. The comments are all screaming, "NOOO don't do it!" while Twitter made jokes about the sordid history this couch probably carries, from bedbugs to a Victorian ghost to something very NSFW. But @yafavv.madaa got her "dream couch" and honestly I can't blame her for pushing aside all reason to keep it.

Don't Hate The Shipper

Twitter's meme du jour is all about "shipping" and the people who stand in the way. If you're not chronically online, shipping means rooting for people to get together, usually in a show/movie/book. Like a very real relationship on "Modern Family" to a very not-real one (but relatable, tbh). Or a non-canon Star Wars situation that Disney refuses to validate.
