Environment Alert: Officials see possible ecological disaster in Southern Calif. as oil spill begins reaching beaches

The 126,000-gallon spill was reported Saturday afternoon, with the U.S. Coast Guard stating the slick was about three miles off Newport Beach, a popular tourist destination.
