| The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its recommendation to call for testing anyone — including people without symptoms — who has been in close contact with someone diagnosed with covid-19. The change took place after the agency was directed last month by the White House Coronavirus Task Force to shift its testing guidance. The Task Force-directed guidance said those without symptoms "do not necessarily need a test." |
