| Hello and welcome to the Computerworld UK weekly digest. This week saw a major - and unusual - tech IPO, with the Swedish music streaming company Spotify directly listing on the public market. It was a hugely successful debut for the company and may well signal an interesting route to public markets for companies flush with private funding. Last week we also had a reporter out in Silicon Valley for Nvidia's GTC event to learn about the chip marker's work in the AI and autonomous car space. We have a full rundown of everything we learned, as well as an interesting conversation with a researcher from the University of Sheffield about how it's using Nvidia GPUs to supercharge its complex simulations. Elsewhere we have practical advice on how to boost your MySQL database, Google Sheets tips and how to finally upgrade to Windows 10. As ever, thanks for reading. Scott Carey, Editor |
