First Manhattan performance in over a decade!

Four-time Tony nominee for Best Actress Tovah Feldshuh revives her brilliant performance as Golda Meir in the one-woman show, GOLDA'S BALCONY, for which she was recognized with the Helen Hayes Award and a visit with the president of the United States. The play follows the trajectory of Golda's life from Russian immigrant in the United States to prime minister of Israel, with a focus on the period surrounding the 1973 Yom Kippur War, a difficult and controversial time for Golda and for Israel.

GOLDA'S BALCONY originally opened Off-Broadway in 2003, where it sold out its 16-week run. Six months later, the Broadway production premiered and ran for 507 performances, making it the longest-running one-woman show in Broadway history.
