Environment Alert: Thousands of seabirds starved to death in the Bering Sea — and scientists see evidence of climate change

In a new study, researchers estimate that between 3,150 and 8,500 puffins likely perished during the episode that began in 2016, probably from starvation – one of a growing number of seabird die-offs in recent years that scientists write "are indicators of a changing world, and particularly of climate change."
