Apparently, Jason Derulo thought it might be a good idea to eat corn—from a power drill. As the power drill sped up, Jason, abruptly stopped and appeared to be in some ~serious~ pain. Turns out, that he (might) have knocked out his front tooth in the process. PSA: Don't eat corn on the cob off a power drill.

Krista recently came across this (somewhat nasty) kitchen "hack." Apparently, if you soak strawberries in a salt bath, teeny tiny bugs will start oozing out. (These bugs are actually babies from eggs that female fruit flies "inject" into the berries. The berries serve as food for the fruit fly babies.) After watching the video, I've been ~so~ mentally scarred since I've never really washed berries before eating them, and soaking them in an elaborate salt bath was just out of the question.

Let's face it: Pre-Y2K McDonalds might have been the best time to go! Whether it's cute burger chairs or that weird (but insanely delicious) "orange drink," the Golden Arches sure had a lot going for it. (The Halloween buckets were so cute and such a collectible. There's something odd about lobster: they are officially called the "cockroach of the sea" because they somehow resemble normal cockroaches (but in water-breathing creature form). They also feast on a lot of "scraps" on the ocean floor—unlike their finned counterparts—which conjures some uncanny similarities to the earth-residing cockroach.
