Happy Thursday! There's something about a Vacation Eve™️ that buzzes with excitement. I mean, I couldn't help but leap out of bed early to do my little quests (which is the only way I'm referring to chores/tasks from now on) and finish packing. That said, I'll miss you all while I'm gone but my lovely coworkers will pop in to say hello for me. See you soon and enjoy! ✨ |
- This Saturday is Independent Bookstore Day, but you can support local bookstores early with Libro.fm's audiobook sale! I just snagged Howl's Moving Castle for a fun and light listen.
- I'm obsessed with this real life meet-cute of two strangers meeting IRL, featuring a steak burrito, an airplane, and a lot of luck.
- Okay, okay, last thing before I set my "OOO" message. This travel packing checklist is pre-made, all-encompassing, and a life-saver for anyone (like me) who always forgets *something*. You're welcome.

Another day, another Disney remake gone awry. This time, it's about The Little Mermaid's latest reveal of its characters. Some (Melissa McCarthy as Ursula is amazing) first looks have been better received than others (WHY is Flounder not yellow?!) and the internet had a lot to say about the whole matter. Thoughts? |

Earlier this week, we caught up on the latest drama surrounding Sydney Sweeney's upcoming rom-com and the allegations that she's dating costar Glen Powell. Buuuut, we all seem to have forgotten that she's actually engaged...to a pizza heir! Here's the recap of her love story and why it hints at — despite the palpable chemistry — a platonic set. |

"Yellowjackets" is one of the best shows on TV right now, but it breaks my heart to see one of its stars, Liv Hewson, feel unwelcome at the Emmys because of their gender expression. It's no secret that awards shows are notoriously binary, and Liv took themself out of the running for that reason. This isn't the first time an actor has called out Hollywood for this, but hopefully it could be the last. |

Thrifting can be so fun, but it's also hit or miss! Sometimes you walk away with grimy-feeling hands and a sense of disappointment, but ~sometimes~ you totally score. Like these people, who found things that were actually worth a TON, were exactly what they were looking for, or were just plain cool. Color me jealous of that Nickelodean couch. |
