Happy Tuesday! Anyone else watching the TikTok hearing with bated breath? Part of me will be devastated if this app goes down while the other part will welcome the hours of my day not spent with my eyes glued to my phone. Oh, the agony! While we still have it, enjoy this social media/internet breakdown from the last few days. Enjoy! ✨ |

I'm In The Combination Kitchen-Bathroom The Kardashians aren't new to controversy, but I'm guessing the reason behind Kourtney Kardashian's latest hot water was a bit...unexpected. After posting a "photo dump" (as the kids call it), her comments went down the drain thanks to one photo that featured a bathtub surrounded by plates of food. Now look, I love a glass of wine in the bath, but chicken fingers, Kourt? A full blown salad just chillin' on the tile floor? A burger resting on the toilet seat? The comments got so nasty that she had to address it on her story. I'm going to hope this is her designated eating-only bathroom... |

This Meme Was Made For Walkin' I love a silly little meme, like the latest one all over Twitter that's based on punning off of (mostly) celeb names. Like Harry Styles' supposed new love interest; the "scal" brothers; a heated game of rock, paper, scissors; a drugged confusion; or a callback to Disney Channel. It's the best kind of internet joke: harmless, funny, repeatable, and silly as a goose. |

Medjed Is Here The internet is never 100% reliable, but occasionally is does actually teach me something new. Like the existence of Medjed, an Egyptian god and only being depicted with both eyes facing forward. That doesn't sound that crazy in the context of hieroglyphics, but when you actually see him, it's a bit alarming. BUT, Medjed also bears a striking resemblance to some other characters like the little guys from Among Us and — a personal fave — Grimace. The quote tweets cracked me up as people made tons of comparisons and felt a special kinship with Medjed. Ah, the ways the internet brings us together. |

I Woke Up Like This The latest TikTok sound all over my fyp is a mashup incorporating an emotional speech about not being okay and...a line from Ace Hood's song, "Bugatti." Classic combo, right? The unlikely pairing has led to an iconically dark sound that's perfect for iPad kids interrupting your venting sesh, ruining your friend's emotional moment, or your phone going off during therapy. It also works for when things ruin romanticizing your own life, whether it's a rainy day or a late night walk home. If you ever need to use some dark humor to get through, TikTok is your place to go. |
