This week saw little-known-vendor Microsoft make a whole host of announcements, including a new on-premise version of Office - Office 2019 - a Spring Creators Update to Windows 10 and a bunch of upgrades to its cloud CRM solution Dynamics 365. Elsewhere IBM has upped its game in the voice assistant war with Watson Assistant. This isn't necessarily a competitive play against Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant however, as those are consumer-focused solutions tied to specific devices. IBM is looking to be more bespoke and business-focused with Watson here. Read more about it below.
