This is an exciting week for American Catholics. The Archdiocese of Chicago is holding a special event in honor of Chicago-born Pope Leo XIV.  It's happening Saturday, June 14 at Rate Field – home of the Chicago White Sox, who have been very vocal about how the new pope is a lifelong Sox fan. Can you blame them? Along with a program of celebration, music and prayer, including Mass, the event will feature a special video message from Pope Leo himself. That's right. Pope Leo is sending a special message to his hometown crowd. Don't worry. The rest of us will get to see it, too! CatholicVote has set up a special site where you can learn more about Pope Leo XIV, watch some great video content about his election and more, and you'll learn how we're answering the Holy Father's call to "dream big." Most important, you can sign our invitation asking Pope Leo XIV to make an in-person visit home to the United States. Habemus papam! And he's from the Midwest!
