Environment Alert: Greenland’s ice sheet is losing 20 percent more mass than estimated, further threatening ocean circulation patterns, sea level rise

Researchers had previously estimated the Greenland ice sheet lost about 5,000 gigatons of ice in recent decades, enough to cover Texas in a sheet 26 feet high.
