Happy Friday! We made it to another weekend, although it wasn't without its juicy internet drama. Nikki Minaj was Twitter's villain du jour and back-to-school season has everyone trying on teaching. But that's not all — here's all the memes, trends, and more you might have missed! ✨ |

The Chef Has Entered The Kitchen In case you haven't watched Hulu's The Bear, it's about a high-strung classy chef working in his family's down-home restaurant. That *probably* doesn't describe most people on Twitter, but that didn't stop them from turning an image of the chef into a meme about "cooking" (emphasis on the quotes). Some boasted about their pepperoni-moving skills, some TJ's chefs chimed in, red pepper flakes got their due credit, and boiled pasta and jarred sauce got the gourmet treatment. Bon appetit? |

And The Winner For Best Drama Is... The Emmy's were this week and — as seems to be the trend with recent award shows — they were full of ~real~ drama. The biggest story of the night was when Quinta Brunson won, but had to give her speech as presenter Jimmy Kimmel lay on the floor for a bit. Twitter was *not* happy that the late-night host stole Quinta's big night and they definitely let him know. Someone even edited him out of the picture, but Quinta got her revenge when she interrupted Jimmy's monologue on his show later. We all know who the real winner is anyway... |

Was That Whitney Houston? In Wholesome Internet News™️, the teaser for the new live-action Little Mermaid dropped this week and Black parents everywhere filmed their kid's reactions to seeing themselves represented on screen. This Twitter thread captured some of the purest moments, and even Ariel herself chimed in. The videos are sure to bring tears of joy to your eye...although this reaction will probably make you cry laughing. That viral video ended up making the late Whitney trend on Twitter, with people making jokes about the confusion. We love a rare sweet internet moment. |

Get In Bestie, We're Headed To Wisconsin Wisconsin might not be at the top of your travel bucket list, but this TikTok is making it look pretty glamorous. The creator — who is from Japan — traveled to the midwest state and ended up loving it, especially the cheese curds. The video made its way to Twitter, where people appreciated how it made them want to romanticize their lives — even if they don't seem very exciting at first. |
