The best of the internet, right here, right now
BuzzFeed Daily is undergoing a bit of a touch up; you're still going to get the top trending stories, but along the way, you'll get to meet our editors — including Kirby, Ben, and more — and get their ~hot takes~ on what's swirling around the Interwebs. |
Happy Friday! It's Kirby here, acting as this week's guest editor (my new fave job title). I spend a lot — probably too much — of my time perusing the internet, so I'm excited to get to share my little slice with you all. Obviously, everyone's FYP ("for you page," for any boomers reading) is different, but here are the stories, memes, and entertainment breadcrumbs I've been eating up this week! Enjoy. ✨ |

ðĻ NEW HARRY ALERT!!!! ðĻ Arguably the biggest news of the week (just kidding!) is Harry Styles dropping the first single — and music video — from his new album today. After a Harry-less drought for the last few years, the internet is abuzz with their takes on "As It Was." Pop in your airpods and cue the meme scrolling! |

This guy does oil paintings of grilled cheese, burgers, etc. and everyone is very *obsessed* They somehow bring tears to my eyes and make my stomach growl. - Netflix is adapting the BookTok-viral (and Kirby-recommended) The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
@Netflix let's have a little chat, shall we? TikTok's coming in hot with the mid-Friday revelations What will be on repeat during my silly little mental health walk today? This sound.

Today's meme goes out to everyone (cough, me) with a drawer-full of old chargers: |

Eat: I've been obsessed with this roasted cauliflower and garlic egg thing. It's so easy to dump stuff in the oven, top it with some cheese (ricotta is *chef's kiss*) and enjoy. Watch: I'm late to the party, but "Dickinson" is the show to watch for depressed, gay former English majors. I'm dreading the final episode. Shop: I wanted some ~light~ glasses for the upcoming warmer months, and these cat-eyed beauties ended up being perfect. Read: I've been following up my "Bridgerton" obsession with this romance and loving it. Swoon. Do: I finally caved and bought a NYT subscription just for the crossword, which my girlfriend and I now do every day...with just a little cheating. |
