Climate Alert: Environmental group Greenpeace ordered to pay Dakota Access Pipeline operator hundreds of millions in high-stakes defamation suit

Greenpeace defamed Dallas-based Energy Transfer during protests over the pipeline that drew thousands to Cannon Ball, North Dakota, in 2016 and 2017, a jury decided Wednesday.
