Health Alert: Textured breast implants linked to a rare cancer are being recalled

The Dublin-based company Allergan announced it would conduct a worldwide recall of the implants after the Food and Drug Administration reported a sharp increase in illnesses linked to them and asked the company to remove them from the United States market. The implants have already been banned or recalled in several countries and make up less than 5 percent of the U.S. implant market.
