This week we have not one but two big IT stories from the aviation industry, as everyone's favourite budget carrier Ryanair committed to going 'all in' with cloud vendor AWS, and Gatwick Airport completed a much-needed network infrastructure refresh with help from HPE and Aruba Networks. Elsewhere the cloud planning software unicorn Anaplan was in town to tout its increased release velocity as it looks to react to customer demands for new features, as well as a case study from travel agent Thomas Cook as it transitions to the digital age. Finally we dive into the Government's latest attempts to secure the Internet of Things (IoT), including how the plans may be lacking in some key areas. As always, thanks for reading.
