Health Alert: North Carolina sues Juul, accusing it of downplaying risks, to become first state to take legal action against e-cigarette maker

North Carolina Attorney General Joshua Stein filed a lawsuit Wednesday against popular e-cigarette maker Juul Labs, making it the first state to take legal action against the company. The lawsuit asks for restrictions that go further than Food and Drug Administration policies. The suit could provide a template for states that want to take similar steps.
