| A D.C. jury on Thursday found in favor of Mann, who had accused the online writers of falsely discrediting his research in tracking humans' influence on global warming. The jury awarded Mann a total of $1,001,002 from the two writers, one of whom compared the scientist to Jerry Sandusky, a Penn State football coach who had been arrested for molesting young boys. |
