Hi! Sally Elshorafa here—the Home and Garden Editor on the BuzzFeed Shopping team.   I'm originally from San Francisco but I now reside in a tiny beach town right outside of Los Angeles, which is awesome because I'm currently going through a beach goth stage (aesthetically). Normally I have pretty cool and varied hobbies and interests, but now that I'm nearing the eighth month of my first pregnancy, all I have is baby brain. It's so all-consuming, and I'm constantly trying to make sure I have everything we need without overbuying. Thankfully there's a huge community of indie sellers who create for folks in my position, so shopping and planning has been really fun so far.     Image: Sally Elshorafa WHAT I'M LOVING NOW Ocean Baby Mobile from Mobilebaby Next; $169     Image: Etsy Our baby's nursery doesn't have a theme per se, but we are all about that beach life and love living so close to the ocean. My mom found this mobile, and knowing that I love felt art, she got it as a present for us. Sugar Scrub from Uniquely Bath Co.; $11.19   Image: Etsy My growing belly is making it difficult for me to shave my legs, so I decided to start exfoliating them with this sugar scrub from Uniquely Bath Co., which is a Black woman-owned small business out of Atlanta. It does such a good job of getting rid of dead skin that I don't have to shave my legs nearly as often as I used to. Bird of Paradise Robe by Block Shop; $140   Image: Block Shop Block Shop is this super cool textile and design studio out of Los Angeles, and I am dying for a reason to buy one of their robes. As I get closer to birth, clothes are becoming ill-fitting and uncomfortable. If I had this robe I would just wear it with a pair of sweats literally every day of the week.  NYT for Kids: A Guide to the Clouds by the New York Times; $5   Image: NY Times Store Taking a deep breath and staring up at clouds is such a vibe, so when I found this reprint of a special section from the NY Times that teaches children about clouds, I knew I had to have it. The plan is to get it framed and eventually hang it in the nursery. It's the best $5 I've ever spent.  ON MY WISHLIST A literal bag of beans (specifically the Garbanzo) from my favorite bean grower A squiggles vase from one of my favorite Etsy home decor shops A Myrtillocactus geometrizans Fukurokuryuzinboku aka 'The Boob Cactus' This blood orange and grapefruit candle because I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year and this'll cover the scent of what I assume will be a burnt turkey I love a good finishing EVOO and this one's packaging is :::swoon:::, so obviously I can't stop thinking about it I want this star and street map for when the baby's born, but minus the mushy romance stuff A print of Eugene Levy as Johnny Rose from Schitt's Creek on an egg salad sandwich ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Matching cardigans for me and baby when we come home from the hospital for the first time  It'll be years before baby can fit into this dress, but I still want it!
