Rosie Perez is proud to be the daughter of a veteran, and she's proud to be a Puerto Rican-American. However, she's not happy to see this Administration's lack of action on Hurricane Maria. As she writes in this special edition of Lenny, if her father were still alive, "he'd be heartbroken by the delayed response from that man who was voted our president. It would've killed him to know that the same attention given to Texas and Florida has not been given to the people of Puerto Rico. While that man in the White House was busy tweeting nonsense about professional athletes and blaming Puerto Rico for its economic woes, Puerto Ricans continued to suffer.
